During the 50-year leadership of RAMS Academician Yuri Pavlovich Lisitsyn at the Department of Public Health and Healthcare at N.I. Pirogov RNRMU, the improvement of domestic healthcare was successfully achieved. The department, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2024, maintains the traditions laid down by teachers, actively improves all types of department activities - research, educational and methodological and pedagogical work, implementing and improving the educational process, training students, residents, postgraduates, teachers and doctors-organizers of health care, continuing scientific research.
