Integrated program "residence-postgraduate studies" as an educational innovation: regulatory, legal and organizational framework

This article defines the goal, main objectives and priorities for the development of Integrated Education at Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (Pirogov University), the conditions for implementation, as well as the expected results for students of Pirogov University and for the country as a whole. It is noted that the learning outcome is achieved through an individual approach to training and the conditions for the implementation of residency programs and programs for training scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in postgraduate study. The conditions for implementing the programs include personnel conditions, infrastructure, information, financial and other resources. This approach ensures, among other things, the variability of the educational trajectory. The target audience of Integrated Learning is students who have demonstrated high academic abilities, as well as research skills during the first year of residency. The goal of Integrated Learning is to train a highly qualified specialist - a doctor with clinical thinking and research competencies.
