Original research Distance learning technologies in continuing medical education: advantages and disadvantages

In the context of the application of distance learning in the framework of continuing medical education, the author identifies the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning. The study revealed that one of the significant drawbacks is the quality of the material offered to listeners. As ways to improve the quality of content, the author proposed to develop and implement content requirements for DPO programs implemented within the framework of continuing medical education; to develop a list of topics for which training in the DPO format is unacceptable.

The problem of reducing the quality of work performed by an employee, the deterioration of the health of an employee, the shortage of qualified personnel, the decrease in motivation for professional improvement is always one of the priorities for any organization. In the interests of the management of the organization lies the issue of developing measures of material and non-material incentives for employees in such a way that this leads to healthy competition, the desire to improve themselves, the development and implementation of new effective methods for fulfilling their duties.

Original research Additional education in the field of biomedicine (Cellular and genetic therapy)

The material is devoted to the issues of training specialists in the field of cellular biomedicine in accordance with the law «On biomedical cellular products». Cellular products based on living human somatic cells (BMCP) are a new class of therapeutic agents that reduce mortality and disability in diseases that were previously incurable. According to the program «Fundamentals of development and application of biomedical cellular products» of the Department of Cellular Biomedicine of the Russian National Research Medical University. N.I. Pirogov, students receive fundamental and applied knowledge on all stages of BMCP circulation.

Original research New development trends in the department of additional professional education for specialists with a secondary pharmaceutical education: problems and prospects

The continuous development of the healthcare system requires constant professional improvement from the pharmaceutical industry specialists. For effective interaction with medical specialists and end users of medicines, pharmaceutical workers must be aware of current trends in the development of pharmacy. In this regard, educational organizations are organizing the work of additional professional education (AVE) departments according to new trends, actively implementing programs for the Continuing Medical and Pharmaceutical Education portal of the Russian Ministry of Health (CME portal). The material presents an analysis of the work of the APE Department of the Pharmaceutical Branch of the Sverdlovsk Regional Medical College, which identifies the most relevant areas for development related to the development of programs for the CME system. The difficulties of transition to the CME system for specialists with a secondary pharmaceutical education were also noted.

Original research Modern additional professional education for average medical workers as a resource of quality medical care

Providing medical organizations of the healthcare system with qualified personnel, including the introduction of a system of continuing education of medical workers, is one of the tasks of implementing the regional project “Providing medical organizations of the healthcare system with qualified personnel in the Sverdlovsk Region”, implemented as part of the national project “Healthcare”. For the effective implementation of the continuous education system, new approaches to the implementation of additional professional education for paramedical workers are required. In accordance with professional standards, national, federal and regional priority projects in the field of healthcare, the programs of additional professional education are being updated. The organization of the educational process is based on the principle of openness of education to the external demands of practical healthcare. The material presents the results of a survey of specialists with secondary medical education in the Sverdlovsk region to determine the degree of involvement of specialists in the system of continuous education.

Original research Generalized model for the development of a distance course for professional development in the learning management system moodle

The active introduction of distance learning technologies in the training of medical personnel within the framework of continuing professional education attracts the attention of methodologists to the search for optimal models for the development of educational courses in distance learning environments. Based on the practical experience of the authors, the article describes the stages of creating an electronic teaching material for a refresher course in the LMS Moodle. Based on this model, a number of courses have been developed, which, during testing, have shown their effectiveness in the formation of professional competencies.
