The paper presents the results of a bibliometric study of the scientific direction "digital educational environments" based on the Web of Science information platform. Within the direction, eight research areas of varying scientific relevance are identified: "development of subject-oriented educational media applications", "individual adaptation of educational information systems", "information pedagogy", "digital educational networking", "digital transformation of continuous education of specialists", "general issues of digital educational design", "identification of differential factors in the quality of education", "problems of navigation on educational platforms"
