This article discusses the use of art-therapeutic techniques during practical lessons in general psychology for students studying clinical psychology, describes the advantages of using art- therapy techniques in the educational process for the formation of universal competencies. Specific exercises and procedures included in practical lessons on the following themes are given: "Psychology as a profession", "The nature of the unconscious", "The structure of activity", "Emotions".
