Some aspects of the methodology for studying the effectiveness of continuing medical education

The paper presents an analytical review of studies on the effectiveness of continuing medical education (CME). We examine various definitions of CME effectiveness, compare Kirkpatrick’s and Moore’s models in the context of CME effectiveness evaluation. We analyze studies on comparative effectiveness of different methods of medical specialists’ teaching, both traditional and high-tech.
