The 115-year history of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases No. 2 of the Institute of Clinical Medicine of the Pirogov Russian National Research University (RNIMU) of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation is rich in outstanding names and glorious achievements. This article examines scientific clinical schools related to the history of the department, their contribution to the domestic clinic of internal diseases, as well as modern scientific activities of the department.
