The article considers one of the forms of university extracurricular work – the work of a student scientific circle at the Department of Physics and Mathematics. Due to the fact that the Unified State Exam in physics is not required for admission to medical universities, students have weak training in this subject. In this regard, the task arises: to increase interest in this subject in various ways. One of the ways is to participate in the work of the physics circle, while both specific scientific work is carried out and reports are prepared in the direction of the relationship of physics with various fields of medicine. When preparing a report, students are guided in advance by the analysis of specific sections in physics in accordance with the topic of the report. The list of topics is posted in advance on the website of the department.
