The article discusses issues related to the formation of an integrated educational space in the system of continuous professional development of medical workers in the region, motivation issues to «enter» the continuing medical educational system, quality issues of education and its independent evaluation, formation of personal educational trajectory in the specialty and the roles of the University, executive authority of the region, institute of chief freelance specialists as integrators of these processes.
